I.P. Engineering "Jane"
I. P. Engineering's "Jane" 0-4-0 is an ideal and affordable starter locomotive. The Jane is alcohol fired and is fitted standard with a water top off system. This means that surprisingly long runs are possible with this sturdy little loco. The throttle allows for precision control and the open cab design allows for complete access.
The Jane is available for both
32 and 45 mm track gauge and in a choice of either green or maroon.
Fittings include: throttle, displacement lubricator, water gauge and safety valve.
An optional gas burner (Made by Cheddar) is available.
Jane's open cab and side tank design is typical of many narrow gauge quarry locomotives.
