ARGYLE LOCOMOTIVES

Sulphur Spring Steam Models, LLC. is pleased to offer to Larger Scale Live Steamers the excellent products of Gordon Watson of Australia, one of the world's master builders of Gauge O (32mm) and Gauge 1 (45mm) operating live Steam locomotives. Presently three (3) different locomotives with a variety of options are available to the Live Steam enthusiast. Argyle products are well detailed finescale examples of the prototype that will not only be a great performer on your layout, but a graceful object for the display case. These engines are well equipped with all of the features that one expects to have at their command for ease of operation and realistic performance, such as working prototype valve gear.
As the North American Agent for Argyle Locomotive Works of Australia, we look forward to discussing these fine products with you and offering service after the sale from our stock of spare parts and related supplies.

DELIVERY: Argyle locomotives are custom built to order and delivery times can vary depending on desired options on the locomotive and parts on hand at time of order. Normal delivery is 12-16 weeks after receipt of order but this can vary depending on the builder's backlog and desired customer options.

ORDERING: A 10% deposit is required when the order is placed with Sulphur Springs Steam Models, LLC. The order should include a list of all options desired, any SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS and your phone number(s) both Day and Evening if possible.

SHIPPING: When the engine is within four (4) weeks of being ready for dispatch from Australia you will be notified of this fact and the remaining 90% balance is due. The locomotive will be dispatched to you shortly after payment is received. Shipping is by Special Post Air Mail. The usual transit time from Australia, clearing through US Customs and delivery to us is approximately 8-12 days. The locomotive will be inspected, test run and then dispatched to you by UPS.

GAS FIRING: All of the engines as listed are fired with Butane gas fuel. Special boiler designs are available on the Forney for those who wish to Alcohol fire their engine. The Alcohol fired option is available at time of order (ONLY). Alcohol fired locomotives CANNOT be Radio Controlled.
