Universal Coupling Components: Bodies are plastic. Inserts are machined brass. A complete set consists of (1) body and (2) Inserts, bored to the shaft diameter you require, which are ordered separately. Two couplings can be connected together using a Splined Coupler. Krick

Anna

The Krick Anna is the smallest launch from our model boat selection. The original boat was used as basic transportation for goods or passengers around the turn of the century. All wooden parts of the kit are laser-cut. The deck and upper hull are cut from light colored, high grade plywood. The hull is constructed from ABS. Shaft and propeller are included. The doll, fenders, and steam engine are not included in the kit. Designer for the beginner the Anna provides an excellent introduction for live steam hobbyist. Recommend Steam Engines for this launch are the Cheddar Kompact Vertical or Pintail Vertical units. CAT# KBK-ANNA

Alexandra

With the Alexandra we have managed to create a typical steam launch from the beginning of this century (circa 1900). The slim hull shape reminds us of this time period, which brought us so many elegant boats. The kit is of outstanding quality. All plywood parts have been laser-cut. The hull is from ABS 1.5mm strong. Propeller and shaft are included with the kit. The lanterns, water/oil separator, chimney and the steam engine are not included in the kit. CAT#  KBK-ALEX

Borkum

A Krick Boat Kit capable of using the larger Cheddar Puffin Steam Plant. Launches like the Borkum (circa 1901) supplied goods and transport to the North Sea Islands of Scandinavia. The stable hull is 2mm ABS and already moulded. All plywood parts are laser-cut. The rudder is solid brass. All transfers (included) are water resistant. Construction time for this kit is approximately 200 hours.

Victoria

At the turn of the century the steam boat became popular. It was fashionable to own a steam boat, either as a private yacht, working boat or for passenger transportation. The model Victoria (circa 1905)has been created for the steam engine enthusiast. The engine and boiler are fully visible on the top deck. The hull is constructed of ABS and all plywood parts are laser-cut. The boat is suitable for our Cheddar Puffin Steam Plant (sold separately). Assembled time for this launch is approximately 150-200 hours. Ideal winter project for marine hobbyist.
